Raksha Bandhan Special Assembly

Delhi Public School Ruby Park, Kolkata celebrated Raksha Bandhan with a vibrant and meaningful special assembly on 27th August 2026 that beautifully highlighted the cherished bond between siblings.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, accompanied by a soulful “Ganesh Vandana” presented by the school choir. This was followed by a melodious rendition of “Bhai Behen Ke Pyaar Ka Tyohaar Hai Aaya.” The Principal Smt. Joyoti Chaudhuri addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of Raksha Bandhan. The festive spirit continued with a vibrant Gujarati dance performance by the students of Class 2 on “Rakhdi Na Prem Na Rang.”

The audience was then treated to a special performance, the highlight of the celebration—an English skit titled “The Strongest Thread.”, followed by a soulful performance by the students of Manovikas Kendra.

Adding to the celebrations was an energetic dance performance by the students of Classes 2, 3 and 4, which was warmly appreciated by the audience. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem.
