Independence Day 2025
Delhi Public School Ruby Park, Kolkata, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with a series of inspiring events that captured the spirit of freedom and unity. Smt. Joyoti Chaudhuri, the Principal, the Members of the Management, distinguished guests, teachers, and parents graced the occasion. The event commenced with the Flag Hoisting ceremony, where the esteemed Chief Guest, Col Avijit Das, Commanding Officer of Bengal BN NCC, hoisted the tricolour, and everyone joined in for the National Anthem.
The cultural programme began with a powerful rendition by the School Choir of “Lahrado sarkashi ka parcham lahra do,” followed by a delightful performance by the Bulbuls from Classes 1 to 4. A thought-provoking skit titled “From Struggle to Strength – India’s Vision,” beautifully portrayed the nation’s journey from its fight for independence to its emergence as a modern and dynamic country.
