EXUBERANZA-Junior Fete 2017–18

On 3rd February, 2018 Delhi Public School, Ruby Park, organized a grand and magnificent Junior Fete, Exuberanza, comprising the students and teachers of classes 2 to 5. It was an all day long fiesta where children and parents enjoyed to their heart’s fullest engaging themselves in various games, shows and competitions put up by the teachers and the students.

The day started with an inaugural programme where the school choir sang a medley of melodious songs and our little ones danced to the tunes of a few folk numbers including folk dances from Bengal and Goa. The mega event commenced with the releasing of balloons by Principal ma’am, Anusree Ghose and with her declaring the Junior Fete open for all. The teachers and students had put up various colourful and fun stalls such as The Lucky Coin, Get the Right Ball, Seven up Seven Down, Tol Mol ke Bol, Bird Wizard, Treasure Hunt, involving the students in some extremely captivating games. Other than the game stalls the students participated in various competitions like the Card making competition for class 2, a Cute Cartoon Craft Competition for class 3, a collage making competition for class 4 called Kolkata Konnection and an Earthen Pot Painting Competition for class 5 which were held in different slots throughout the day. The major attractions of the day were the Flower Arrangement competition for the children along with their grandparents and the Magic shows which were again held in different slots throughout the day.

DPS, Ruby Park has always put in an extra bit of effort to make sure that every child gets an opportunity to learn and to enjoy themselves. Keeping this in mind the children from ‘Pathchala’ were invited to spend their leisure time relaxing and playing different games. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves visiting the game stalls, winning gifts and spending their leisure fruitfully. Overall the entire event was a grand success living up to its name, being the most exuberant and euphoric celebration of the year which made the children and parents relish the day in high spirits and elation.
