Important:

1. Note for CBSE Students:

(Clause 7.4 of the amended Examination Bye Laws of CBSE dt. 30.08.2010)
(1) Admission to Class XI in a school shall be open only to such a student who has:

1. obtained minimum grade D in at least 5 subjects (excluding the sixth additional subject) under Scholastic Area as per the scheme of studies and a Qualifying Certificate at the Secondary School (Class X) Examination conducted by this Board / Senior Secondary  School affiliated to this Board.
2. has passed an equivalent examination conducted by any other recognized Board of Secondary Education /Indian University and recognized by this board as equivalent to its secondary school examination; and

Notwithstanding anything contained in the rules above, Chairman shall have the powers to permit the admission in Class XI in respect of such students who have opted for not appearing for Secondary School examination conducted by the Board but changing school after passing the Secondary School examination conducted by a Senior Secondary school affiliated to the Board on grounds of shifting of family from one place to another, transfer of parent(s), for better academic performance or on medical grounds etc. to avoid undue hardship to the candidate(s).
In view of clause 7.4 as re-produced above, those CBSE students who have opted out of the CBSE Board conducted examination, can take the registration form and go through the selection processes. However admission/provisional admission can only be given after the student gets the permission from CBSE Chairman. The permission from Chairman will be procured by the student on his / her own and not through this School.

1.  In the Registration Form, the students opting for Group-A Science have to clearly specify their choice of the 5th subject.
2. Registration Form, duly completed in all respect, should be submitted to the Administrative Office of the School latest by 31st May 2011.
3. Incomplete Registration Form and Registration Form with false information will be treated as invalid.
4. Please note that age of the candidate should be 16+ as on 30th September 2011.
5. The percentage of marks obtained in all subjects and the aggregate should be clearly mentioned in the Registration Form.

   All the documents are required to be attested by parents of the candidate.
7. Please paste identical colour photographs of candidate on the Registration Form as well as Admit Card together with colour photograph of the parents of the candidate on the Registration Form.
8. Securing mere cut-off marks is no guarantee for admission.
9. Admission will be granted to Non-DPS Ruby Park students only if they clear the written Assessments followed by an interview of short listed candidates..
10. Written Assessments will be conducted on the following subjects on 02nd June 2011 at 9.00 A.M.

11. The list of candidates selected for appearing in the interview will be put up on the Notice Board at the Administrative Office on 03rd June 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Interviews will be held on 04th June 2011.
12. It is compulsory for students selected for interview to appear for an interview along with both parents on the allotted date and time.
13. Original mark sheet of Class IX Annual Examination and Class X Board Examination and Admit Card of the Class X Board Examination are to be produced at the time of interview. For CBSE students, SA 2 (either School based or Board based) Report Card must be produced.
14. The List of selected candidates for admission to Class XI will be displayed on the Notice Board at the Administrative Office on 06th June 2011 at 02:00 P.M.
15. The School provides transport facilities but offers no guarantee that a seat in the school vehicle will be available, when the vehicles are to full capacity do not ply in the area of residence of the students.
16. Delhi Public School Ruby Park, Kolkata is at present, is running Euro II/III compliant vehicle for carrying its students who have opted for transport facility, covering Howrah, Kolkata and 24 Parganas The vehicles are also equipped with First Aid boxes. 17. The School timings shall be from 07:30 A.M. to 01.00 P.M. Extra classes will be held thereafter till 04:00P.M.
18. A Fee of Rs. 500/- to be paid in cash while collecting the Registration Form, together with Prospectus.
19. A Fee of Rs. 500/- to be paid in cash at the time of submission of the Registration Form.
20. The Fees Structure of the School shall be as hereunder:

21. Fees, once paid at the time of admission, are not refundable in any case except the caution money (refundable) in case of withdrawal.
