On 13th July 2010, Tuesday, DPS Ruby Park conducted a special assembly to welcome the Honourable Minister of State for Corporate and Minority Affairs , Mr. Salman Khurshid.
A traditional Tilak Ceremony was held to welcome the Minister which was followed by the tree plantation ceremony, a reminder of our responsibilities towards the environment. After the rendition of a melodious welcome song by the school choir, the Principal of DPS Ruby Park Kolkata, Ms.Anusree Ghose, welcomed the Minister and he was felicitated by the members of the Managing Committee.
A dance theatre was staged aiming at sensitising the students on the conservation of Mother Earth. The Hon’ble Minister Mr.Khurshid addressed the students and interacted with them. |
