The programme was organized by the DPS Society, in association with Max Muller Bhavan with the objective of kindling an interest in German culture and language among the students. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Falk Schleichar, the concerned project office for the aforesaid initiative, “Schools: Partners for the Future”. He along with the Pro-Vice Chairman of DPS Ruby Park, Mr. Alok Tibrewal and the Principal of DPS Ruby Park, Ms. Anusree Ghhose lit the ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the programme. The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour encouraged the students and spoke on the value of such innovative events.

The quiz masters Ms. Alinda Goel Holla and Ms. Vinita Gupta from DPS Society, Delhi conducted the different rounds of the quiz.

Contestants from nine esteemed schools of Kolkata participated in the event. The entire sequence of the quiz was commenced in two rounds. The first, was the written round conducted to shortlist the participants followed by an elaborate, on stage audio-visual self choice round.

Birla High School for Girls, secured the first position with Birla High School for Boys emerging as runners up.
